"Oppression.blackmetal have an excellent feel for eliciting emotions. Be it pure rage and aggression through infernal fury with tremolo attacks and double bass fire, as in the opener "No Safe Place", "The Call Of The Night" and the closer "Nice Death Matters".
The album's highlights are undoubtedly "Homeland's Fury," "Psalm For The Fallen," and "Maria Rosenthal." The first of these captivates with sensational melodic tremolo riffs over a double bass onslaught that truly grooves like crazy."

The hook lines that emerge in the meantime are equally impressive! Here, majestic riffing is as sparing as gripping screams; every now and then, a very subtle keyboard is allowed to contribute a few epic touches."
