Packing has started and therefore we are closing the 25th edition of Under The Black Sun festival. Apart from snow, we experienced almost every weather condition but managed to keep everything running.
We would like to thank everyone involved in making UTBS2024 happen, foremost Irsins Sound, Armageddon Sound Works, MS Backline, Kältetod Legion's stage and backstage crew, our security, the tireless bar-crews supplying you with all the drinks, Lense of Sense for the relentless photo coverage, Mira Grunn for the festival-merch, Warchrist Production for the upcoming full show videos, the shuttle drivers and the many hands and runners. You are the ones making the whole event possible!
Thanks to Partyservice Daniela Prestin, the icecream truck and the cocktail truck for their awesome service! We hope, you had some great meals and drinks when enjoying the concerts.
Once again, huge thanks to all the bands for coming to Friesack and delivering a hell of a show on all three days!
And last but not least, thanks to all the fans for coming to UTBS2024 and making it possible to have another instance of insanity in 2025.

As this fake-ticket selling by hacked accounts in the comments still goes wild on Facebook, we were afraid of no danger and stepped right into the enemy's territory.
We could learn a valuable lesson this time: not even official documents like passports, ID cards etc are proof of legitemacy these days. Those are just fetched from the chat history of the hacked account.
Further, the "screenshot" of the ticket looks nothing like any valid ticket, the price for 6 1day-tickets is ridiciously low and he even aggrees to send tickets for a day when the festival is already over.
We're deleting those comments as fast as we can, but we can't be there every minute of the day. When in doubt, contact us and we can verify if the seller is legit or not.
Please, dont fall for the scams. You have been warned!
Side note: if you missed the presale, there are enough tickets at the festival location. No need to panic and fall for dubious offers!

As food is always an important thing at festivals, we expanded the menu for UTBS2024!
So here's a quick look into what Partyservice Daniela Prestin has to offer:
-Grill stand: grilled sausage, meatballs, steak, turkey skewer, Schnitzel, french fries,
-Snacks: coffee, goulash with pasta, pasta with tomato sauce, pea soup, sausages, potato salad, hand bread with sour cream, lard sandwiches with cucumber
-For vegans: wild garlic soup, vegetable balls with dip, veggie-Schnitzel, cheese soup
-From the oven: pork knuckles with sauerkraut, smoked pork with sauerkraut, spicy metal soup
...and of course, since we saw the huge demand: Langos of choice will be back!
In addition, there will be an Ice Cream truck of Eismanufaktur Fürstenberg to cool you down with soft ice cream, homemade spreadable ice cream, slushi, iced coffee, ice chocolate, limited coffee on the side, spaghetti ice cream and maybe even milkshakes!

As more and more questions to various topics are coming in, here's a quick FAQ:
1. Is camping possible next to my car?
Yes, you can put your tent right next to the car on the camp ground.
2. Can I bring my favourite battle axe/combat knife/AR-15/rocket launcher/whatever?
Nope. And if your knife is useful for more than getting butter on your bread for breakfast, please leave it at home as well. Same goes for pyros and all the likes of items, you won't usually bring to a music festival. There will be checks on the festival entrance. Further: it's not allowed to bring your dog or whatever pet you might have. Please spare the animals from the stress of a festival. Thank you.
3. Will there be showers/water access on the camp ground?
Sadly, we won't have showers, as most of them are still not available due to the war in Ukraine and the leftovers are WAY BEYOND expensive (talking 1k+ per single unit). Nonetheless, there will be access to cold water, so if the weather turns out to be massively heated, you can just use one of the hoses to cool down. The off-road shower we set up last year will be back!
4. Can I setup my grill station?
This is highly dependent on the weather, as there might be a high fire risk when we get a drought again. We cannot predict the weather situation, so please act responsibly. There will be food trucks on the festival area to supply you over the weekend.
5. Can I bring glass bottles to the festival?
Yes, you are free to bring glass bottles to the camp ground, but not to the stage area. Anyhow, please keep glass of any kind to a reasonable minimum to reduce possible risks of injury and provide easier waste disposal. Thank you.
666. Can I play my music on the camp ground?
Yes, but please keep in mind that during night times, some people actually want to sleep. So please keep the volume on a level that won't piss off you neighbors.
7. Can you provide accommodation in Friesack?
We have no possibilities apart from the camp ground. If you need an appartment, want to rent a hotel room etc., please check Google, Booking and the likes for yourself.
8. Can you provide a flight or train service from location X to the festival area?
Sorry, we don't have the budget to buy planes, trains and build tracks. For a fitting solution, please see section 7.
9. What is the earliest I can arrive/ latest I have to leave?
You are free to arrive at the camp ground at Wednesday, 03.07.2024, from 4:00pm (16:00). We must ask you to leave until following Sunday, 4pm (16:00).
10. Will there be extra fees/deposits/whatever?
We won't charge any fees for the camp ground, nor deposits for trash etc. But please, leave the camp ground as you found it and put all the trash in the containers we provide. As it happened last year: putting glowing embers from your grill station into the garbage cans can cause fires. DO NOT DO THIS AGAIN. Thank you.
11. Are generators allowed on the camp ground?
Yes, but please don't have them running constantly and if your neighbors are annoyed, please consider moving your camp. There is enough room on the camp ground.
12. Can I get beer even after the last band finished playing?
Yes, there will be a possibility for you to get fresh beer on the camp ground, so the party can go on until next morning.
13. What if I lost my festival bracelet during the festival?
Once you enter the festival area the first time, you get a bracelet in exchange for your ticket (hard-/e-/CTS-ticket). If you kinda manage to rip it off your wrist, bring it to the entrance to receive a new one. If you lose it completely, there will be no chance to get a new one for free.
14. Can I bring my kids to the festival?
Children between 0 and 6 years of age don't have access to the concert area. Youths between 7 and 16 years of age have access only accompanied by a legal guardian or person having the care and custody of the child. Youths of 16 years of age and older have access until 24:00 only with written consent of a legal guardian. Persons having the care and custody of child must carry the written agreement for custody and must present a copy of the ID card of the legal guardian. Children from the age of 12 need a ticket. Still, we HIGHLY advice to not bring children as a Black Metal festival simply might not be a suitable surrounding. We are not having what you would call a family-friendly environment and yes, there might even be animal blood in the air sometimes.
15. If you have any disabilities and need more info (e.g. about wheelchair accessibility etc), please contact us and we'll provide additional info of the location in those regards. If there are any questions left, don't hesitate to write a PN, we will answer everything as soon as possible.

As in previous years, a shuttle bus will run from the UTBS2024 festival site directly to Berlin Spandau train station on the nights from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday!
The shuttle will leave at 1:30 in the night, so if everything runs without delays, your're able to see all the bands and catch your ride to Berlin!
