This band was originally founded in 1997 and reformed under their current name in 2012. With three full-lengths in the backpack, the Norwegians of Abyssic create a unique symbiosis of atmospheric approaches in Funeral Death/Doom, with Black and Prog influences. The signature is enhanced by orchestrations with mellotron, minimoog and upright bass.

Another year, another great edition of Under The Black Sun festival!
Thanks to all the fans, who attended UTBS2024 and enjoyed one of the best festivals in Germany.
Thanks to all the bands showing incredible performances!
Furthermore, thanks to all our partners and our brilliant crew, relentlessly doing all they can to make this even possible (and we've never expected to see a stage crew being THIS efficient. Insane job guys!).
As said last year, we will continue to improve and provide an even more enjoyable event for all of you in 2025. Fabric bracelets seem to have been very well received, now we can look into other things.
Stay tuned, more bands for UTBS2025 will be announced with a faster rhythm in the coming weeks and there are still two more full show videos of 2024 ahead!
